Each year, Popular Science honors the best innovations of the year that impact life today and will affect the future. Tru-Defense won the award in the Home Technology category for offering builders, remodelers

harsh weather conditions.

Home Channel News presented Therma-Tru with a Golden Hammer Award in 2007 in recognition of the top retailers and suppliers in the home center channel. Each year, Home Channel News presents gold and silver awards to the top vendors in 38 different product categories. Therma-Tru won the “gold” in the 20th year of the award ceremony. |
Lowe’s Supplier of the Year

Therma-Tru was named Supplier of the Year by Lowe’s in 2006
for meeting or exceeding their standards in innovation, product
performance, environmental policies and responsive customer
service, among other criteria. Chosen from finalists in 20
product categories, Therma-Tru was the only supplier to achieve
the top honor as Supplier of the Year.

Building Products MVP Awards

Therma-Tru Doors' Classic-Craft® American Style Collection™
was recognized for its reflection of the Arts & Crafts Style by
Building Products Magazine in 2006. Each year, this leading industry
publication awards the most valuable products to come on the
market with its MVP Awards. Therma-Tru also won the 2005 MVP
Award for its Fiber-Classic and Smooth-Star fiberglass Hinged
Patio Door Systems.

Home Safety Council Awards

In 2006, Therma-Tru was awarded the Home Safety Council
Commendation Award for Product Innovation for Consumer Safety.
Awarded this year for its patented security strike plate, the
20-gauge steel component addresses the weaknesses in a typical door
system with significant resistance to forced entry. In 2005,
Therma-Tru received the same award for its Classic-Craft
fiberglass door system because of its outstanding performance in
harsh weather conditions.

Woman's Day Home Remodeling Award |

Therma-Tru’s Classic-Craft® American Style Collection™ won Woman’s Day 2006 HR (Home Remodeling) Award. This award was created by
Woman's Day Special Interest Publications to celebrate the best new products of 2005. The product categories covered every area of the home remodeling industry including appliances, tools, bath and kitchen products, and garage doors. Out of 200 entries, only 24 were winners.
